{"id":4193,"date":"2016-10-10T00:00:11","date_gmt":"2016-10-10T00:00:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.undsgn.com\/uncode\/?p=4193"},"modified":"2017-05-25T07:19:27","modified_gmt":"2017-05-25T07:19:27","slug":"eutravel-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/inlecom.eu\/group\/2016\/10\/10\/eutravel-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Conference: The Future of Multimodal Travel in Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/eutravel.eu\/Conference\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">EUTRAVEL Conference<\/a> headlined \u201c<strong>The Future of Multimodal Travel in Europe\u201d<\/strong> took place in Barcelona on the 6th of October, presenting evidence that there are plenty of intriguing and innovative developments in the travel and mobility sector across Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a few stats:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>24 speakers from 11 European countries;<\/li>\n<li>59 companies and organisations represented, including Transport Operators, Travel Service Providers, Technology Providers, Start-ups, Research Institutes and Authorities;<\/li>\n<li>87 delegates;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>and countless innovative ideas shared!<\/p>\n<p>The event focused on the advancements and challenges towards seamless door-to-door travelling and was organised in three topics:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Travel Technology and Business Driven Innovations,<\/li>\n<li>Research Driven Innovations, with the presentation of 10 related EU funded projects,<\/li>\n<li>Trends and Challenges, Mobility as a Service, Added Value Services for Travellers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Background<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The conference was organised by <a href=\"http:\/\/inlecom.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Inlecom Systems Ltd<\/a> &#8211; EUTRAVEL Project Coordinator &#8211; and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fgc.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">FGC<\/a>. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eutravelproject.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">EUTRAVEL project<\/a> (Optimodal European Travel Ecosystem) envisions the realisation of a sustainable and open single European market for multimodal travel services, by integrating many transport and travel services and making them available through a single API of APIs.
